ORBITER® 2 LM

  • Max Endurance Up to 2.5
  • MTOW 13 kg
  • Max Speed 200 kts
  • Max Altitude 16,000 ft

Platform Overview

A Group 1 loitering munition UAS combat-proven.
The ORBITER 2LM provides outstanding operational range and endurance, high precision with operational flexibility. Its low optical and acoustic signatures make it highly covert and difficult to detect both UAV and the ground segment are compliant (hardware and software) with NATO STANAG 4586 and 4609.

ORBITER® 2 LM

A Group 1 loitering munition UAS, the Orbiter® 2 LM is a covert combat-proven system with integrated ISR capabilities and small thermal/acoustic signatures.

Capable of carrying a fragmentation warhead (over 3 kg), the electric-powered system can immediately intervene to engage threats, protecting and supporting both mobile and stationary forces on land and at sea.

The Orbiter® 2 LM is fully operational in GPS-denied areas and includes advanced autonomous flight modes. It has a proximity fuse for optimal fragmentation dispersal. The system is provided with a training kit that includes an inert warhead and a recovery kit (parachute & airbag).

The STS mission kit offers superior performance, fast sensor-shooter mission cycle and operational flexibility in challenging weather conditions with a small logistics footprint. The system and proprietary control software are compliant with NATO STANAG such as 4703 and 4609.

Available with a range of sensors and payloads

  • Stabilized Mini Dual EO/IR

  • Automatic Video Tracker

  • Video Motion Detection

Specs

Orbiter 2 Sensor-to-Shooter (STS)

Orbiter 2 Sensor-to-Shooter (STS) Mission Kit continues to set the standard for UAV operations, combining proven technology with a forward-thinking operational concept.

The generic architecture implemented into all Orbiter family of products enables seamless integration across all Aeronautics platforms, giving our customers the ability to operate all Orbiter platforms with same common Ground Control Station (GCS). In addition, an advanced generic operational application and communication data link enable the operation of multiple UAVs simultaneously from a single GCS (Ground Control Station).

This cutting-edge capability improves real-time intelligence gathering , accelerating Sensor-to-Shooter response cycles, streamlining Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) enabling mission success.

Proudly developed at Aeronautics, this innovation reflects our leadership in UAV and defense technology on the global stage — combining operational excellence with the spirit of innovation.
